I’ve spent 20 years building technology infrastructure for public schools in California — from managing 42 servers in Madera to leading a 20-person IT department serving 17,000 students in the heart of Silicon Valley.
The last two years have been defined by one question every district leader is wrestling with: how do we use AI responsibly?
At Santa Clara Unified, we built our own framework from the ground up — rolling out Google Gemini for administrators, launching an AI Advisory Committee, and training staff on tools that save real time without compromising student privacy or security.
I bring that experience to stages at CoSN, CASBO, CALIE, and CALSA — talking about what actually works inside a district with real budget constraints and a board that asks hard questions.
If you’re a district leader navigating AI, a CASBO peer, or building technology for the K-12 space — let’s talk.

As an award-winning educator, keynote speaker, and STEM advocate, I’m passionate about transforming classrooms into spaces where all students feel seen, valued, and empowered.

As a CSTA Equity Fellow, AI Innovator, and National Presenter, I work with educators across the country to break down barriers and reimagine what’s possible through computer science, UDL, and creative technology integration. My work is rooted in a human-centered, whole child approach—one that helps students see themselves beyond the labels and limitations placed on them. When we embrace innovation and lead with purpose, we ignite lasting change for both students and educators.

If you're looking for a speaker who leads with heart, strategy, and real classroom experience—book me to speak.
